Sustainable Development Forum
The industry forum on sustainability was hosted by Unilever Sri Lanka in partnership with GCNC and the focus was on project themes such as Water Sanitation & Hygiene, Education, Good jobs, Economic growth Gender equality and Zero Hunger. This was held during August 2017. The objectives were to share best practices on projects, partnerships and other initiates that have been successful. Moreover, this initiation created dialog & ability to share knowledge on the above key themes, develop an action plan to main themes and find solutions which can be driven through collaborations. Additionally, the Board decided to include reforestation to the themes.
