Signatories engage only in national and regional levels, whereas Participants engage in global levels as well.
LEAD is a recognition given to Participants who engage in two or more Action Platforms, pass an integrity screen and submit an Advanced COP (Communication on Progress).
Platforms developed by the Global Compact to advance responsible business activities and fill emerging gaps in meeting the Global Goals in order to achieve the ambitious and necessary goals set out in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
COP (Communication on Progress) is an annual report describing the company’s progress towards supporting the Ten Principles of the UNGC.
Minimum requirements:
A statement by the Chief Executive expressing continued support for the UN Global Compact and renewing the participant’s ongoing commitment to the initiative
A description of practical actions the company has taken or plans to take to implement the Ten Principles in each of the four areas (human rights, labour, environment, anti-corruption)

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (or Global Goals for Sustainable Development) are a collection of 17 global goals set by the United Nations in 2015.
The formal name for the SDGs is: "Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development." That has been shortened to "2030 Agenda".
